In a strange series of communications from Doyle’s Room the final word appears to be that they are exiting the US market. First they said they were leaving the US market. That came from several rumor sources and then was later confirmed by a statement from their PR firm. Then the word came that the original notice of a withdrawal had been a mistake and that no decision had been made. Later an official announcement confirmed that Doyle’s Room will no longer accept US players.
Some players who have chatted with CSRs at Doyle’s Room say that they are setting up some sort of exchange with Full Tilt. You can transfer funds directly to a Full Tilt account and they will also honor any points that had been earned on Doyle’s Room. Not a bad deal if true. Though Full Tilt has its own money transfer problems and is beginning to take a lot of heat on message boards from players who have run out of patience waiting for cashouts.
